Every year in October the Harbourfront Centre hosts an international program of distinguished authors and literary newcomersfor a full-week of readings, workshops and all around bookish good fun. As burgeoning book nerds, John and I made it out to our first (and only) IFOA reading to catch some of our favourite CBC radio personalities-turned-published-authors in the flesh. It was a good night. Had we more time, we would have stalked Michael Ondaatje or knitted a sweater for Alice Monroe.
