As ‘Martha Stewart’ as it sounds, preparing a whole turkey for an entire family is a beautiful thing. We didn’t realized just how so, until we rolled up our sleeves and cooked one ourselves. All the work that goes into it – all the love and care, the awkward prodding and massaging, the stuffing and stitching up, the basting and seasoning – it can turn you into a nervous wreck if not careful. Thankfully, we had John’s mom guiding us along and chaperoning the process. Turkey turned out perfect.

Congratulations on making a stuffed turkey. Looks like you made a big feast. Your table setting looks very homey and inviting. I’ve only made turkey breast and homemade dressing on the side (and without a recipe). My boyfriend picked away the celery and onions from the dressing but otherwise, asked me to make it again! How did your guests enjoy your feast?
