Dear Anyone who Reads this Blog,
We’re over our halfway hump!!!! One hundred and eighty three to-do’s complete means that we’re now more than halfway done this crazy, all-encompasing, semi-ridculous, but totally fabulous project of ours. Has it already been half a year!? Oh my god. Six more months left and I know, more than anything now, that we’re totally going to complete this quest of ours. No doubt in my mind.
We just wanted to say a big thank you to all our friends and family and anonymous readers who have been throwing us their support since we launched this project back in January. Collectively, this whole experience has, and continues to be, one of the best decisions we’ve ever made (both as a couple and as individuals).
To celebrate our halfway mark, this weekend we drove North to Bruce Peninsula National Park and hiked a section of a trail we’ve been talking about for years. The Bruce Trail is over 800 kilometres long and travels across the rocky terrain of the Niagara Escarpment, between Niagara Falls and Tobermory.
With heavy packs on our backs, deer flies chopping at our necks, and the oppressive heat weighing us down, we trekked a solid 2-hours from our rental car to our back-country campsite at Sonehaven, up rocky hills and down rocky hills; it was a tough and tiring go, but gah, was it worth it.
Here’s to another crazy 6 months!

Congrats on your accomplishments! I really really enjoyed reading about your stories, travels, and adventures! I’ve decided to started my own little adventure, but instead of something new every day.. I’m going to try to do at least one new thing a week if not more. Do you have any advice for me?
Thanks,
Stephen
Hey Stephen. Thanks for the comment. Once a week is smart; I’m sure you’ll find it a rewarding experience. Advice? Check out entry #365. I tried my best to cover all our learning’s over the year in that post. We wish you the very best. Definitely send us a link to your website if you decide to track your progress in a blog. Cheers.
