During our 3-day canoe trip down the Saugeen River, we encountered a staggering number of bird species that we managed to identify on our iPhones, including: Canadian Geese, mallards, vultures, hawks, ospreys, kingfishers, scads of bobolinks, and flocks of seagulls and mergansers.
It being breeding season and all, the birds were extremely territorial and protective. This made it very difficult to get any close-up shots. But we tried….
