[The following is a designated ‘John-only‘ to-do]
I just recently visited my sister and brand new brother-in-law in their brand spanking new house in the mountains in Italy, along with my parents and cousin Uwe. It was every bit as beautiful and delicious as it sounds. One of the many perks of this cozy mountain home was the stone oven built just off the back porch. We took full advantage of these fortunate circumstances and had a traditional Focaccia bread stick bonanza on our hands.
There’s nothing quite like gathering around a fire in the fresh mountain air and baking yourself a big ol’ batch of bread to warm you up from the inside out.
This was awesome and the bread was delicious!
The oven was very, very hot.
We watched the bread bake before our very eyes.
It took about 1.5 – 2 minutes.
You two boys kneading and poking are fantitalyastic!
