What a weekend. We’re spent. Exhausted. Can barely type. Resorting to short sentences. Eyelids closing…..

Just got back from John’s hometown. Big brother Dave got married. Lots of dinners, dancing, presents, parents, the whole shebang, wrapped up in a big doily. It was a beautiful, busy weekend.

Somehow, in the midst of it all, we managed to complete four to-do’s during the festivities……today we made out on the bleachers (just around the corner from John’s parents’ house). We also managed to make some dandelion tea, ring an old church bell in an old church tower, and partake in an awesome couples sleepover party.

Tomorrow morning we fly out to Peru. Posts will be sporadic over the next two weeks, but do come back. I am sure we’ll have much to share. I’m doing some writing for a magazine while there. Plans include a three-day hike to Machu Picchu, a week in the Amazon, and a short stop in Lima, Peru’s capital. I am floating.
