I have wanted to see this building for a long time and unfortunately when I got the chance I didn’t have my camera on me (just my phone). I’m not sure it would have mattered all that much though. This is a building that needs to be seen in person. It has been under construction since 1882 and despite its incomplete state, it’s still an amazing piece of architecture to see.

I look forward to returning in another 25 years or so when they’ve finally wrapped up the construction.
