Meet Twiggy, our mini-raft mascot. We felt the need to add a little something extra, to give our raft a little oomp — thus Twiggy was born.

To be honest, we had full intentions of building a life-sized raft for this to-do, it just wasn’t feasible given our circumstances — high winds and big waves meant we had to stay put at Bushy Bay for the entire trip, limiting our rope supply substantially.

To work around this, we worked small scale (adhering to the fundamental principles of raft building), adding Twiggy as an afterthought to create that illusion of grandeur. I think the most important thing to note is: it floats!
