After all these years of talk, we finally made the 10-hour drive north to Lake Superior, the largest* freshwater lake in the world. High winds and big waves kept us stranded at Bushy Bay the entire trip. To pass the time, we read books and built a raft.

I’d say this is my new favourite place.
